Rising Hands exists to strengthen families, encourage parents, and ensure that no one facing the challenges of special needs ever feels alone. We know the weight families carry. We know the fears, the questions, the unexpected moments, and the deep desire to see every child valued and supported. Our mission is to stand with families in those moments and offer hope, practical resources, and a community that understands.
Rising Hands was created from lived experience. Our founder, Lynita Snow, walked through the realities of raising a child with autism and experienced firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the journey can feel. Out of that journey came a desire to make sure every parent has the support, encouragement, and guidance they deserve.
Today, Rising Hands is committed to helping parents feel seen, heard, and equipped. We provide connection, encouragement, and resources designed to bring strength to families and dignity to every child. Whether it is offering emotional support, sharing practical tools, or partnering with organizations that serve families, everything we do is anchored in compassion and the belief that stronger families create stronger communities.
